LegalBridge is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation, legal advice, or legal services as defined under the Legal Practitioners Act of Nigeria. All content is provided for informational purposes only. Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform.
Section 01
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using LegalBridge, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DST Global Innovative Nigeria Ltd (RC 9169753), governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Section 02
What LegalBridge Is โ And Is Not

LegalBridge IS:
An AI-powered legal information assistant that provides general legal information about Nigerian law, helps draft legal documents for review, connects users with verified lawyers, and assists with legal research.
โ LegalBridge is NOT:
A law firm, a legal practitioner, or a substitute for professional legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is created by using LegalBridge. AI responses are not legal opinions and should not be relied upon as legal advice in any legal proceeding.
Always consult a qualified Nigerian legal practitioner for matters with significant legal consequences.
Section 03
Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old to use LegalBridge
- You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration
- Lawyers must be duly called to the Nigerian Bar to list on the Lawyer Marketplace
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- One person may not maintain more than one account
Section 04
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use LegalBridge to:
- Facilitate, plan, or cover up any criminal activity
- Harass, intimidate, or harm any person
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Impersonate any person, lawyer, or official authority
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform
- Scrape, copy, or republish AI-generated content without permission
- Use the platform to generate content that violates Nigerian law
- Share account credentials with others
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.
Section 05
AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
LegalBridge uses artificial intelligence models (including Claude by Anthropic and Gemini by Google) to generate responses. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
- AI responses do not constitute legal advice or a legal opinion
- You should independently verify all legal information before relying on it
- DST Global Innovative Nigeria Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated content
- No attorney-client relationship is created by using LegalBridge AI

Nigerian law changes frequently. Always verify statutes, regulations, and case law through official sources such as NigeriaLII.org, the National Assembly website, or a qualified legal practitioner.
Section 06
Lawyer Marketplace
The LegalBridge Lawyer Marketplace connects users with independent legal practitioners. You acknowledge that:
- Lawyers on the marketplace are independent practitioners, not employees of DST Global Innovative Nigeria Ltd
- We verify NBA membership but do not guarantee the quality or outcome of legal services
- Any engagement with a lawyer through the marketplace creates a direct attorney-client relationship between you and that lawyer only
- DST Global Innovative Nigeria Ltd is not a party to any legal services agreement between users and lawyers
- Lawyer listings are paid subscriptions and do not constitute endorsements
Section 07
Subscription & Payment Terms
- LegalBridge offers a free tier and paid subscription plans
- Payments are processed securely by Paystack
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Refunds are not provided for partial subscription periods
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice
- Accounts with failed payments will be downgraded to the free tier
Section 08
Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, branding, and AI systems of LegalBridge are the intellectual property of DST Global Innovative Nigeria Ltd unless otherwise stated.
- You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute LegalBridge's interface or branding
- Documents you generate using LegalBridge belong to you
- You grant us a limited licence to process your content to provide the service
- The LegalBridge name, logo, and brand are trademarks of DST Global Innovative Nigeria Ltd
Section 09
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, DST Global Innovative Nigeria Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Any loss or damage resulting from reliance on AI-generated legal information
- Outcomes of legal matters in which LegalBridge content was used
- Unauthorised access to your account due to your own negligence
- Service interruptions, technical errors, or data loss
- Actions or omissions of lawyers listed on the marketplace
Our total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Section 10
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:
- Violation of these Terms of Service
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal use of the platform
- Non-payment of subscription fees
- At our sole discretion with 14 days notice for non-violation cases
You may delete your account at any time from your Settings page.
Section 11
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved as follows:
- First: Good faith negotiation between the parties (30 days)
- Second: Mediation under the Lagos Court of Arbitration rules
- Third: Litigation in the courts of Nasarawa State, Nigeria
Section 12
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of LegalBridge after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
